Common Ground intensifies battle for portable document market, announces AutoMaker; AutoMaker delivers unattended, automatic conversion of Windows documents to universal DigitalPaper format.

For example, graphics software that converts a selection of images from one format to another would be a batch processing utility.  tool that allows the unattended, automatic conversion of Windows documents to DigitalPaper, the company's own universal electronic document format.

Installed on a network server or a standalone computer, AutoMaker can be programmed for unattended conversion of electronic documents to DigitalPaper. AutoMaker can run continuously or be programmed to run at preset time intervals. Converted files are saved to a designated output directory, with an option to delete the originals.

AutoMaker also includes a single license for Personal AutoMaker which allows for "drag and drop A graphical user interface (GUI) capability that lets you perform operations by moving the icon of an object with the mouse into another window or onto another icon. For example, files can be copied or moved by dragging them from one folder to another. " conversions to DigitalPaper from any desktop. It also enables users to forward the converted documents to a specific directory or network site.
