Committee slams increasing incidents of kidnapping for ransom in Chaman.


QUETTA, September 16, 2009 (Balochistan Times): All Parties Muttahida Action Committee Chaman on Wednesday expressed deep concern over the increasing incidents kidnapping kidnapping, in law, the taking away of a person by force, threat, or deceit, with intent to cause him to be detained against his will. Kidnapping may be done for ransom or for political or other purposes.  for ransom and demanded of the government to provide security to the people. In a meeting held here, he committee strongly condemned the kidnapping of a student Najibullah by unknown kidnappers who demanded Rs. 2.5 million ransom for his release. They said that the district administration had utterly failed to impose its writ which had emboldened em·bold·en
