) is pleased to announce the advancement of the Anuri area at the Committee Bay project. During spring and summer 2005, 1,450 line-km of airborne magnetic and electromagnetic geophysical surveying, in conjunction with detailed geological mapping, prospecting and rock sampling has delineated four spatially separate gold occurrences along the contact between komatiites and mafic volcanic rocks. These occurrences include the Anuri, Anuri East, Anuri Lakes and Muskox musk·ox or musk ox

.

Initial sampling at Anuri, produced high-grade gold and silver values of 291.2 g/t Au and 1,769.0 g/t Ag. These early samples were from within a north northwest trending boulder train of altered volcanic rocks. In 2005 a total of 423 rock samples were collected at Anuri from the boulder train and from sparse outcrop. These samples returned assay results up to a maximum of 20.68g/t Au and 33 were grater than 2 g/t Au and 14 were greater than 5 g/t Au.

Geological mapping in conjunction with airborne and ground geophysical surveying at Anuri indicates that the rocks are at or near one or more structural breaks. Due to poor ground conditions drilling was unable to reach and drill through the complete sequence of komatiite Komatiites are ultramafic mantle-derived volcanic rocks. They have low SiO2, low K2O, low Al2O3, and high to extremely high MgO.

Komatiites were named for their type locality along the Komati River in South Africa.

was intersected in two holes. Additional drilling will be conducted in 2006 with a drill capable of drilling through thick overburden.

Anuri East

Seven samples of altered volcanic rocks were collected from the Anuri East area located approximately 1.5km east of the main Anuri area. Of these samples, two assayed in excess of 1g/t Au with a maximum of 4.65g/t Au.

Anuri Lakes

Eleven samples of quartz-veined intrusive rocks were collected from the Anuri Lakes area located approximately 2km east of the Anuri area. Of these samples, five assayed in excess of 1g/t Au, two assayed in excess of 2g/t Au and a maximum assay of 5.79g/t Au was achieved.

Muskox Area

The Muskox occurrence is 4.5-5km northeast of Anuri. Of the ten samples taken in altered volcanic rocks and iron formation six graded over 1 g/t Au with one samples up to 3.84g/t Au.

The Anuri-Muskox area comprises over 6,000 acres of prospective geology characterized by extensive zones of intense calc-silicate alteration, sulphidation and silicification si·lic·i·fy

. The pyrite-bearing mineralization appears structurally controlled within highly reactive rocks including widespread komatiites, komatiitic basalts and basalts. In addition the area lies immediately northeast of a large intrusive body (central tonalite Tonalite is an igneous, plutonic (intrusive) rock, of felsic composition, with phaneritic texture. It is likely that this 'pressure shadow' would have undergoing dilation dilation /di·la·tion/ (di-la´shun)

or 'opening' during deformation and is thus a highly prospective area for the introduction of potential gold-bearing fluids. This combination of structural dilation, geology and alteration is analogous to famous gold producing districts such as Red Lake, Ontario Red Lake is a municipality and census subdivision 535 km north-west of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. The municipality consists of 6 small towns ( Balmertown, Cochenour, Madsen, McKenzie Island, Red Lake and Staratt-Olsen) and has a local population of approximately 8,500 people. .
