, USA has received approval from that state's Public Service Commission to build an 8.1-mile-long electric transmission line connecting a planned power plant in Rensselaer to the grid. The line will connect Besicorp-Empire Development Co.'s planned 505-megawatt natural gas fired power plant to a bulk electric grid in North Greenbush.
