Publishers Able to Search Specific Ad

Types, Promote Business Models and Include Email Ad Campaigns

Commission Junction Commission Junction is an online advertising company owned by ValueClick. They are specifically in the affiliate marketing industry.

 (www.cj.com), a leader in pay-for-performance marketing, announced today at AD:TECH San Francisco the launch of a publisher initiative to enhance capabilities and revenue potential from CPA (Computer Press Association, Landing, NJ) An earlier membership organization founded in 1983 that promoted excellence in computer journalism. Four main components of the publisher initiative include the ability for publishers to:

-- Locate CPA offers designed for email campaigns

-- Search for specific ad types that will interest targeted

audiences

-- Easily reconcile aggregate commission payments

"Commission Junction is creating new solutions to maximize the revenue publishers receive from advertising as they diversify their business models and ad promotions," said Elizabeth Cholawsky, senior vice president of marketing and product development at Commission Junction. "The features of our new publisher initiative create more opportunities for our publishers to locate the best offers for their ad space and to enter into the best relationships for their business model, ultimately achieving greater success with CPA ads."

The new solution gives publishers the capability to display their unique business models and promotional methods to advertisers. These business models, such as search marketing, Web content, software, or email marketing, will now be prominently shown within the network interface, called the Account Manager. Along with Commission Junction's unique open marketplace metrics, such as EPC (1) (Entertainment PC) See HTPC.

To facilitate a growing number of email marketers, Commission Junction has also created a new email link type that enables publishers to locate CPA offers created specifically for email campaigns and track their results along with the other advertisers and ads they promote. This feature complements the recently announced partnership with Topica, a leader in email publishing solutions, to promote responsible email practices.

Another added enhancement of the publisher initiative provides publishers with comprehensive payment status information, resulting in more up-to-date account information and better account management.
