CommercialWare's retail.dot.commerce solution is an important component of IBM's MerchantReach, a portfolio of solutions that provides retailers with a fully integrated retail commerce solution for multiple channels, including Web, point-of-sale, kiosk, and call center. CommercialWare's solution provides order management, customer service, inventory management and fulfillment components for MerchantReach.

The solution enables retailers to create an environment for consumers to research merchandise on the Web, transact An earlier e-commerce system for the Web from Open Market that included order capture and secure order fulfillment using credit cards, ecash and other payment systems.
