CommercialWare Captures Third Place in Apparel Magazine's Vendor Scorecard; First Place Finishes in Ease of Upgrading, Strategic Value Lead Top 10 Rankings Among Apparel Retail Software Vendors.


NATICK, Mass. -- CommercialWare, Inc., a division of Datavantage, and the leading provider of cross-channel commerce solutions for retailers, today announced it earned the number three position in Apparel Magazine's Vendor Scorecard. The May issue of the publication ranks software providers based on survey research covering a range of criteria such as customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and apparel industry functionality.

CommercialWare earned Top 10 positions in 16 of the 20 categories measured in the survey, which listed a total of 38 software companies. The ranking, based on survey results from over 300 apparel companies nationwide, gave CommercialWare the top spot in both the Ease of Upgrading and Strategic Value categories as well as the number two place in Overall Customer Satisfaction.

"CommercialWare's strong showing in Apparel's Software Scorecard is a compelling endorsement by its customers," said Apparel publisher Susan Black. "And achieving the number three position on the overall Scorecard is a clear customer statement about CommercialWare's ability to meet expectations across a wide range of key benchmarks."

Rounding out the top finishes for CommercialWare were sixth-place finishes in Ease of Administration/Maintenance, User Friendliness and ROI (Return On Investment) The monetary benefits derived from having spent money on developing or revising a system. In the IT world, there are more ways to compute ROI than Carter has liver pills (and for those of you who never heard of that expression, it means a lot). , seventh in Quality of Support, eighth in Long Term Vision, and ninth in Ease of Integration.
