The majority of the developers on the list are engaged in industrial and office development, however, the recent demand for housing has also increased the number of multifamily developers that are actively engaged in the region. Many of the development companies on the Business Journal's list this year have projects that are currently under construction in the region. Caruso Affiliated Caruso Affiliated is a real estate development company in California, U.S.A.. It is headed by Rick Caruso. It is known particularly for building higher-end outdoor shopping centers. (No. 17) is currently developing a 900,000 square feet property. M. W. Ossola Ossola is an area of Italy situated North of the Lago Maggiore. It is part of the Verbano-Cusio-Ossola province. It is composed of one main valley (the Ossola proper) and seven side valleys: Anzasca, Antrona, Bognanco, Divedro, Antigorio-Formazza, Isorno e Vigezzo. Associates (No. 9) is developing four projects that total 610,000 square feet. Primestor Development Inc. (No. 26) has one project under development totaling 40,000 square feet. SPIRIT Properties topped the Business Journal s list again with 7.140 million square feet of real estate properties developed in the Santa Clarita Valley The Santa Clarita Valley is the valley of the Santa Clara River in Southern California. It stretches through Los Angeles County and Ventura County. Its main population center is the city of Santa Clarita. The valley was part of the 48,612-acre (19,672. . The company's Centre Pointe pointe n. In ballet, dancing that is performed on the tips of the toes. [From French pointe (des pieds), point (of the feet), tiptoe; see point.] Business Park is a $270 million master-planned industrial center that houses a variety of large and small manufacturing and distribution companies. Development of the property began in 2002. Since then, Spirit has built and leased some properties and sold land parcels to other developers. Currently, another three properties totaling 140,000 square feet are under development by Spirit. Spirit was founded by Larry Lar´ry n. 1. Same as Lorry, or Lorrie. Rasmussen, whose background is in heavy construction. He acquired the property after previous owners defaulted. And with his heavy construction background, was able to grade the complex so that building could commence.
