EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

THE 25 largest commercial real estate developers in Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  County added 10 million square feet, or 4.4 percent, to their portfolios in 2003, for a total 241.8 million square feet on 1,170 projects.

Square footage under construction held steady at just under 9.1 million square feet compared to the year earlier.

There was little movement among the Top 10 developers, with J.H. Snyder Snyder, city (1990 pop. 12,195), seat of Scurry co., NW Tex., in a prairie and mesquite region; inc. 1907. Oil production is the city's main industry; natural gas is also refined and processed.  Co. and Koll KOLL is a commercial-free radio station located in Lonoke, Arkansas, broadcasting to the Little Rock, Arkansas area on 106.3 FM. KOLL airs a Kids format branded as "Nick 106.3".  Development Co. trading places as Nos. 9 and 10, respectively. Snyder added 980,000 square feet in 2003 on two projects, Koll reported no new projects completed in the county.

No. 2 Trammell Crow F. Trammell Crow (born June 11, 1914, in Dallas, Texas) is an American property developer who created several famous projects, including Dallas Market Center, Peachtree Center (Atlanta, Georgia), and San Francisco's Embarcadero Center.  Co. developed the greatest square footage during 2003, adding 3.6 million square feet in nine projects, to 32.5 million square feet developed in L.A.

Two other companies added in excess of 1 million square feet: No. 8 Carson Carson, city (1990 pop. 83,995), Los Angeles co., S Calif., an industrial and residential suburb of Los Angeles; inc. 1968. Oil refining is the major industry; fabricated metals, paper, and other products are manufactured. The California State Univ. Dominguez Hills is there.  Estate Trust (1.2 million square feet in six projects) and Woodland Hills-based NewMark Merrill Mer·rill   , James 1926-1995.

American poet whose works include Divine Comedies (1976), which won a Pulitzer Prize.

On the retail side, Majestic completed The Village, a 15-acre shopping center shopping center, a concentration of retail, service, and entertainment enterprises designed to serve the surrounding region.
