) has won the National Champion Award from the Commercial Real Estate Women of Atlanta for its contributions in support of fostering the personal and professional development of women in commercial real estate.

The award is the highest honor given to a corporation by CREW Atlanta.

The award, "recognizes Prudential for its continued involvement and support of CREW on a local and national level," CREW said. Prudential supports 10 active committee or board members nationwide, including representatives from its commercial mortgage lending arm, Prudential Mortgage Capital Company, and its real estate investment and advisory business, Prudential Real Estate Investors A real estate investor is someone who actively or passively invests in real estate. An active investor may buy a property, make repairs and/or improvements to the property, and sell it later for a profit. .

"This kind of award recognizes Prudential's commitment to diversity in the workplace, and also recognizes the professionalism of the women who work in our commercial real estate businesses."

The award, presented earlier this month at a luncheon in Atlanta, makes Prudential eligible for nomination for a national award by the CREW network, which includes 43 chapters nationwide. CREW-Atlanta provides informational programs and seminars, local and national networking opportunities, leadership training and opportunities for community involvement.
