Under the terms of the OEM agreement, Commerce One will integrate FileNET's Panagon(TM) Visual WorkFlo(R) software into Commerce One's C1 BuySite(TM) Electronic Procurement Application.

The integrated Commerce One/FileNET solution will further streamline the procurement process within an enterprise by using workflow software technology to automate the routing and approval of requisitions as well as the enforcement of business rules.

Also announced today, C1 BuySite is now available bundled with FileNET's Panagon Visual WorkFlo software, to provide easy, "out of the box" development of business rules for electronic procurement.

Commerce One and FileNET will also engage in joint marketing and business development efforts. This will include plans to jointly explore applications of Internet-based workflow in additional procurement and electronic commerce processes.
