Commerce One Executive Joins Cacheon as Vice President of Marketing; Kevin Schick to Lead Software Company's Marketing and Product Teams.

Cacheon Inc., an integrated business services provider, today announced the addition of Kevin Schick as Vice President of Marketing. In his new role, Schick will be responsible for Cacheon's overall marketing and product functions, including solutions branding and packaging, marketplace positioning, and messaging.

Schick brings Cacheon more than 24 years in the e-business and high tech industries. Most recently, as VP of Solutions Marketing for Commerce One, he successfully led global go-to-market teams for product management, product marketing, and solutions-based marketing. As Commerce One's first VP of Solutions Marketing, he was charged with creating market category, defining target markets, and directing technology development that was delivered to leading companies in e-business such as General Motors, General Electric, and Credit Suisse First Boston.
