Commerce Insurance Company To Scale Back 1999 Discounts.

The chief manufactures are footwear, fabrics, and textiles. , Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 19, 1999--The Commerce Insurance Company today announced that it will request approval from the Massachusetts Massachusetts (măsəch`sĭts), most populous of the New England states of the NE United States.  Division of Insurance to offer safe driver discounts in 1999 of 5% to Massachusetts drivers in SDIP See Shrink DIP and Skinny DIP.  step level 9 and 3% to SDIP step level 10 drivers. In 1998, SDIP step level 9 drivers received a 15% discount and SDIP step level 10 drivers received a 4% discount. These discounts are to be applied to policies having effective dates beginning January 1, 1999. In addition, the Company has requested approval from the Division of Insurance to continue to offer a 6% group discount to members of AAA AAA: see American Automobile Association.
