Over the course of the next two years, Commerce will build and open eight to ten new branches throughout the Mercer County region.

The first two branches located at Kuser & Hamilton Square Hamilton Square in Birkenhead, Wirral, England is a town square first started in 1826 and designed by James Gillespie Graham.

The land on which the square was developed was purchased in 1824 by Scottish shipbuilder William Laird (1780-1841).

Commerce also will open branches in the neighboring Mercer County communities of Plainsboro and Bordentown.
