) will expand its Philadelphia branch network tomorrow morning, December 9, with the unveiling of a new showcase office at the corner of 18th and Walnut Streets.

Earlier this year, Commerce opened another major center city Philadelphia facility at 20th and Market Streets. The 45,000 square-foot office serves as the headquarters for Commerce's rapidly growing metropolitan Philadelphia banking operations; Commerce Capital Markets, the region's largest public finance company; and Commerce National Insurance Services, the nation's 27th largest insurance brokerage firm. Commerce Bank's other Philadelphia branches are located at:

Commerce also plans to open a branch at Knights and Woodhaven Roads in early 2000.
