Commencement of Expanded Work Program.

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 24, 1998--Nar Resources Ltd. (ME:NRL NRL - National Radiation Laboratory (New Zealand)
NRL - National Reconciliation Law (Guatemala)
NRL - National Reconnaissance List
NRL - National Refinery Limited (Pakistan)
NRL - National Research Lab (Seoul, Korea)
NRL - National Resource Library
NRL - National Right to Life
NRL - National Rowing League (UK; established in 1998 to encourage competition between UK rowing clubs)
NRL - National Rugby League (National Rugby League competition from Australia)
)(OTC BB:NRRLF) (NAR) is pleased to announce the approval and immediate implementation of the expanded work program recommended by Falconbridge Exploration Zimbabwe (FEZ Fez: see Fès, Morocco.) for the Maramba project located in the Shamva greenstone belt, Zimbabwe.

The expanded work program is designed to follow-up the positive results of the 22 hole drill program announced in the News Release dated June 17th, 1998.

The 22 hole drill program has tested a strike length of 4.5 km with widely spaced holes and defined a sulphide sulphide: see sulfide. bearing "active horizon" which consists of alteration zone ranging in true thickness from 20 to 80 metres. This "active horizon" occurs within a package of volcanic rocks which are now known to be much thicker than previously recognized from regional government mapping. Drilling and assaying have confirmed that the "active horizon" contains high grade copper-zinc-silver massive sulphide mineralization as zones of variable character over the drilled strike length. This is an unusual occurrence in that high grade polymetallic mineralization demonstrates good variability by ranging up to 3 metres in true thickness. The drilling to date had confirmed that the massive sulphide mineralization does not terminate at shallow depths. Down hole geophysical surveys indicate several off-hole anomalies which suggest continuity of the sulphide bearing zone to depth. Extensive drilling, further guided by down hole geophysics geophysics, study of the structure, composition, and dynamic changes of the earth, its atmosphere, hydrosphere and magnetosphere, based on the principles of physics. The term was probably first used in Germany, where it appeared in scientific writings of the mid-19th cent. Geophysics, which embraces the concepts, data, and methods of various other sciences, is very broad in scope., will be required to test these anomalies.

FEZ, the operator of the project, is commencing the initial phase of the expanded drill program with the one rig on site and then ramp up to three rigs once the program is in full swing. This expanded program will test the active zone downdip and laterally along strike. New conductor anomalies established by the airborne and downhole geophysical will also be drilled. The expanded drill program consists of 4,500 metres in 13 holes with provision to expand for additional 3300 metres to allow immediate follow-up of any significant intercepts and surface TEM geophysics on selected areas.
