Meet master artists, listen to global music and create art during three days of public events: Mother Earth Day (9/9) Children's Wellness Day (9/10) and Children's Peace Day (9/11) Delegates from nearly 40 U.S. states A U.S. state is any one of the fifty subnational entities of the United States, although four states use the official title "commonwealth". The separate state governments and the federal government share sovereignty, in that an American is a citizen both of the federal entity and and 70 countries will participate in the festival, as will children and families from the Greater Washington Area. Internationally famous artists like George Rodrigue George Rodrigue (b. March 13, 1944), is a Cajun artist who grew up in New Iberia, Louisiana. Rodrigue began painting outdoor family gatherings framed by moss-clad oak trees in an area of French Louisiana known as Acadiana. will paint together with the children and guide the children in creation of murals.
