Command Credit signs Letter of Intent with Electronic Data Systems (EDS).


GARDEN CITY, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 10, 1996--Command Credit Corp. (OTC-CDMD), announced today that it has entered into a Letter of Intent with Texas-based Electronic Data Systems Corp. (EDS (Electronic Data Systems, Plano, TX, www.eds.com) Founded in 1962 by H. Ross Perot (independent candidate for the President of the U.S. in 1992), EDS is the largest outsourcing and data processing services organization in the country. ).

The agreement calls for development, formation, and implementation of a business relationship between the two companies.

EDS, one of the world's largest computer processors has aggressively been working to build their credit card and debit card debit card, card that allows the cost of goods or services that are purchased to be deducted directly from the purchaser's checking account. Command has already implemented programs which offer both unsecured and secured card marketing and servicing for several banks targeted at underserved niche markets in the U.S. Command has several large Affinity groups and retailers under contract to issue both unsecured and secured cards to their members and customers totalling over 12 million prospects. Management is currently completing negotiations with a national Affinity group which will increase Command's total prospect universe to over 35 million Americans.
