Command Credit Corporation issues clarification to the EDS announcement released on January 10, 1996.

GARDEN CITY, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 26, 1996--Command Credit Corporation (OTC-CDMD). We wish to issue this statement in clarification of our announcement of January 10 regarding a business relationship between Command Credit Corporation ("Command") and Electronic Data Systems Corporation ("EDS"). Some aspects of the announcement were misunderstood and might in some cases be misleading.

Although EDS and Command do have a non-binding letter of understanding setting the stage for discussions for a business relationship, the discussions are in the very early stages, and the details of such an agreement have not yet been addressed. Specifically, there are no plans or discussions for the formation of a partnership, or joint venture, but rather a business alliance between the parties, and the reference in the announcement to a "joint venture" appears to have been taken out of context.
