CommVault Systems to Showcase Enterprise Messaging Solutions At Storage Networking Interoperability Demo.

CommVault Systems, a leading provider of enterprise data and storage management software, will join more than 50 other storage networking vendors to showcase storage networking solutions for enterprise messaging at the Spring 2001 Storage Networking World(R) (SNW) Conference and Expo in Palm Desert, CA, from April 9-11. Enterprise Messaging is the theme for the SNW Interoperability Lab and Demo, a regularly featured event at the conference that is sponsored and organized by member companies of the of the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) Interoperability Committee.

3. Backup and recovery for the 300G NAS Gateway, IBM's NT-based

NAS device - enhances the IBM storage appliance with data

protection, ensuring end-to-end data and storage management.

There are six sub-themes in the SNW Interoperability Demo:

and how storage networking can benefit application needs, such as enterprise
messaging

-- Emerging Technologies: Includes demos on storage over IP networks,
Infiniband, and Switch Interoperability. Work done by the SNIA technical
working groups will be showcased.

-- High Volume Applications: Demonstrates to IT Managers how storage networks
are used to process high volumes of data, such as streaming media and email

-- SAN Internetworking: Addresses the increasing need to interconnect
geographically distributed SANs

-- Storage Network Management: Provides an overview of storage network
management solutions
