Enterprise Messaging is the theme for the SNW Interoperability Lab and Demo, a regularly featured event at the conference that is sponsored and organized by member companies of the of the Storage Networking Industry Association An association of producers and consumers of storage networking products, whose goal is to further storage networking technology and applications. CommVault Galaxy data and storage management software will be showcased in several configurations including:

1. Intelligent Dynamic Drive Sharing on Spectra Logic Spectra

configuration by allocating drives based on storage policies.

2. Backup and restores of Microsoft Exchange Messaging and groupware software for Windows from Microsoft. Exchange Server is an Internet-compliant e-mail system that runs under Windows NT/2000 and Windows Server 2003. It can be accessed by Web browsers, the Exchange client, versions of Outlook and the earlier Windows Inbox.  data across a WAN to

a Network Appliance (1) A specialized device for use on a network. There are six sub-themes in the SNW Interoperability Demo:
-- Data Storage Utility/SSP: Demonstration of how to build a flexible,
scalable, and available infrastructure to deliver storage services, either
internally or through an outsourcing model

-- Education/Experts: Industry professionals explain storage networking basics
and how storage networking can benefit application needs, such as enterprise
messaging

-- Emerging Technologies: Includes demos on storage over IP networks,
Infiniband, and Switch Interoperability. Work done by the SNIA technical
working groups will be showcased.

-- High Volume Applications: Demonstrates to IT Managers how storage networks
are used to process high volumes of data, such as streaming media and email

-- SAN Internetworking: Addresses the increasing need to interconnect
geographically distributed SANs

-- Storage Network Management: Provides an overview of storage network
management solutions
