Application Integration

With unmatched integration capabilities, the CommVault solution quickly restores application data at the file, folder, mailbox or component level with all of the unique properties associated with the data intact. For example, documents with associated security clearance properties or e-mail boxes with attached files and associated addresses can be fully and individually restored. CommVault software recognizes the data within integrated applications as objects, capturing the permissions, rights and metadata associated with that data. Many competing approaches back up files and applications as straight bit stream data or file systems that require restoring an entire database or e-mail system to extract and restore a single document or folder. The granularity of the CommVault backup allows the software to quickly locate and individually restore only the requested data in seconds without any excess baggage excess baggage nexceso de equipaje
