:CTV CTV Canadian Television (Network Limited) ), has introduced its next generation SYSTIMAX 360[TM] solution platform. With this complete solution, CommScope has redefined enterprise network infrastructure performance from every angle. Under the innovative SYSTIMAX 360 design philosophy, engineering meets elegance, speed meets intelligence, and copper meets fiber in a single, integrated customer solution that exceeds the standards for network infrastructure solutions.

"At CommScope, we have always dedicated ourselves to understanding what drives our customers and are committed to working with them to provide the best solution to fit their specific needs. That is SYSTIMAX 360," said Luc Adriaenssens, senior vice president, R&D and Technology, CommScope Enterprise Solutions. "In this single solution, we have integrated our innovative copper, fiber and intelligence solutions forming the ultimate enterprise network infrastructure. SYSTIMAX 360 is a solution with specifications designed to meet the customer's network infrastructure needs, regardless of company size, technology or industry."

With SYSTIMAX 360, CommScope delivers the most capable infrastructure solution that we have ever offered loaded with new features that will make it a platform for change in the industry. SYSTIMAX 360 delivers next generation 10G UTP UTP (uridine triphosphate): see uracil.

Intelligence gives enterprises the ability to have vision into the physical layer, connections and end-points; monitor, manage and control network components in real-time; and gather knowledge intuitively. Recognizing the benefits of intelligence on the network of the future, CommScope's SYSTIMAX 360 solution offers three pathways to intelligence that allow customers the flexibility to enjoy the benefits of intelligence at a time that best meets their needs.

"We believe eventually all enterprise networks will include an intelligent network infrastructure solution built-in. The end-user advantages of an intelligent network infrastructure solution far outweigh out·weigh

the benefits of installing a traditional system," Adriaenssens added. "With SYSTIMAX 360, we are making it easier for customers to bring intelligence into their network infrastructure by introducing a series of intelligence-ready products that will allow customers to install standard components today and easily upgrade to intelligence in the future."

FIRST NEW PRODUCT RELEASES

In this release, the first in a series of launches of SYSTIMAX 360 innovations in 2009, CommScope introduces the building blocks for the next generation intelligent infrastructure network with sleek new innovations in its more popular solutions.  their needs and budgetary requirements. By providing a clear strategy that includes an upgradeable product line, CommScope intends to bring intelligence to the masses and raise awareness of the business benefits of intelligent infrastructures.

Products released as part of the SYSTIMAX 360 solution include upgrades to CommScope's SYSTIMAX GigaSPEED([R]) X10D, InstaPATCH([R]) Plus and iPatch([R]) Intelligent Infrastructure Solutions.

Under the new SYSTIMAX 360 platform, CommScope also introduces a new SYSTIMAX GigaSPEED X10D cable with a reduced diameter that makes it the smallest diameter Category 6A cable on the market. In addition, the iPatch Intelligent Infrastructure Solution has been upgraded with an unprecedented number of product releases including the new Panel Manager, a new High Density 2U Fiber Shelf with InstaPATCH Plus connectivity, and new SYSTIMAX 360 iPatch copper panels and fiber shelves. The new 360 G2 fiber shelves are available in 1U, 2U and 4U sizes as well as sliding and fixed settings. Copper panels and 1U fiber shelves are available in intelligent and "intelligence-ready" versions that can be field-upgraded without the need to remove standard cords, avoiding network disruptions.

Additionally, CommScope has taken an environment-friendly approach with packaging. Across the board, it has reduced unnecessary packaging material without compromising package durability. CommScope uses recyclable re·cy·cle

"We've looked at these innovations from several viewpoints - from the implementation team to the customers. While technical performance matters, we want to make sure that each SYSTIMAX 360 product meets the lifestyle of everyone coming in contact with the solution. That's true performance from every angle," Adriaenssens said. "Our customers want a solution they can be proud of. SYSTIMAX 360 delivers a new level of performance and elegance to the physical layer never seen before."
