I recently moved to nev.from abut have been going back to ca. every 2 to 3 weeks for med.
, discrimination, and physical violence, gays and lesbians in the conservative country of Croatia often stay in the closet. But on October 11--National Coming Out Day in the United States--1,200 gay Croatians and their allies decided they had had enough.

They took out an ad in the nation's daily newspapers. Under the headline "I don't want to hide anymore!" all 1,200 signed their first names and identified themselves as either gay, lesbian, bisexual bisexual /bi·sex·u·al/ (-sek´shoo-al)
