With tales of fairies and magic, this updated family adaptation was designed to appeal to young and old, and it did just that for an audience of around 300. Performed by just five actors - Aidan McCarthy, Alice Tranfield, Frank Teale, Stephen Reynolds and Helen Partridge partridge, common name applied to various henlike birds of several families. The true partridges of the Old World are members of the pheasant family (Phasianidae); the common European or Hungarian species has been successfully introduced in parts of North America. - it proved an enjoyable evening for all, including my four-yearold son.
