Frisby Technologies, Inc., (Nasdaq: FRIZ), developers of ComforTemp(R) DCC (1) (Direct Cable Connection) A Windows 95/98 feature that allows PCs to be cabled together for data transfer. DCC actually sets up a network connection between the two machines. (tm) dynamic climate control materials, today announced the introduction and worldwide launch of an entirely new climate control leather product. The announcement was made in conjunction with Sadesa, one of the world's leading leather tanners and a manufacturing partner for this new material. This significant new product development represents the first commercial application of Frisby's DCC(tm) technology within products other than foam or foam/fabric packages.

The Timberland Company of Stratham, NH and Rocky Shoes and Boots, Inc. of Nelsonville, OH are among the initial customers for the new Thermico(tm) leather with ComforTemp(R) DCC(tm), which will be supplied exclusively by Sadesa.  (Technology Made Comfortable) Gore-Tex(R) Casual Shoe Series will be lined with Thermico(tm) with ComforTemp(R) DCC(tm) leather and will be available this fall at retailers.

Sadesa has exclusive, worldwide rights to this leather product in the footwear market. Frisby and Sadesa both have non-exclusive rights in other markets such as apparel, home furnishings, and commercial seating.
