Siebel eAuction will enable Comercia customers to transact business according to preference, whether through bidding on items in a traditional auction; naming a price for sellers to meet in a "reverse" auction; or participating in an auction "lottery" where a winner is chosen at random from among all bidders. Customers can use these different auction formats to help liquidate To pay and settle the amount of a debt; to convert assets to cash; to aggregate the assets of an insolvent enterprise and calculate its liabilities in order to settle with the debtors and the creditors and apportion the remaining assets, if any, among the stockholders or owners of the  inventory, increase revenues, build a community or marketplace, assist in RFQ/RFP processes, and strengthen partner relationships.
