CARDIFF University's Centre for Lifelong Learning Lifelong learning is the concept that "It's never too soon or too late for learning", a philosophy that has taken root in a whole host of different organisations. Lifelong learning is attitudinal; that one can and should be open to new ideas, decisions, skills or behaviors.  will be holding two open days in September. Come along and enrol on a part-time course or discuss your options with a co-ordinating lecturer or tutor.

Courses are open to all adults and are offered in a range of subjects. There will be FREE taster taster /tast·er/ (tas´ter) an individual capable of tasting a particular test substance (e.g., phenylthiourea, used in genetic studies).  sessions and European language film screenings at these events. Open days: Tuesday, September 8 noon to 2pm and 5pm to 7pm Saturday, September 12, 11am to 1pm On September 8 at 1.15pm there will be a FREE Chinese culture taster for about 40 minutes touching on its geography and culture. The session will be repeated on September 12 at 11.15am. There will be a FREE Mandarin Chinese language taster on September 8 at 6pm run by the centre's Confucius Institute Confucius Institute (Simplified Chinese: 孔子学院; Traditional Chinese: 孔子學院; Pinyin:  which runs again on September 12 at 12.15pm.
