Comdisco opens high-tech business recovery facility in Cleveland area.

On April 10, Comdisco will host a half-day seminar to help businesses plan ahead to lessen the impact of business interruptions. The seminar is scheduled during the grand opening of Comdisco's newest business recovery facility in suburban Cleveland.

Comdisco Disaster Recovery Services, the world's largest and most experienced provider of business continuity services, is opening a 17,750 square-foot center in Copley, Ohio. The facility offers 200 fully-configured Workarea Recovery Solutions(R) workstations, equipped with local and wide area network recovery, voice recovery and data terminal recovery services.

Comdisco's recovery model stresses the ability to protect organizations' entire flow of information, from the data center, through its networks, to the desktop. The Cleveland metro facility raises Comdisco's Workarea Recovery commitment to more than 6,000 workstations worldwide and 1,100 in Midwest states.

The center's interoperability with and network connectivity to other Comdisco facilities and vendor systems provide maximum service flexibility, while its uninterruptible power supply See UPS.
