) today announced that it has successfully recruited nine new Platinum Preferred Dealers since the fourth quarter of 1998. Comdial's dealer recruitment program designated "Dealer Time In 99", was designed to recruit sophisticated dealers who focus on providing communications solutions in major metropolitan markets. To be considered a Platinum Preferred Dealer, dealers must meet rigorous qualifications and make a substantial business commitment to Comdial.

Sales of the new Impact FX have been climbing rapidly. Software activation levels increased 256% compared to last quarter.
