Comcast introduces 100 Mb/s high-speed Internet service in Twin Cities region.

Cable operator Comcast Corporation (Nasdaq:CMCSA) (Nasdaq:CMCSK) has launched a 100 Mb/s high-speed Internet service for businesses in Minneapolis and St. Paul St. Paul

The service offers download speeds of up to 100 Megabits per second (unit) megabits per second - (Mbps, Mb/s) Millions of bits per second. A unit of data rate. 1 Mb/s = 1,000,000 bits per second (not 1,048,576).

E.g. Ethernet can carry 10 Mbps.
 (Mb/s) and uploads at up to 15 Mb/s.

Comcast also provides a comprehensive business solution that features Microsoft Communication Services, a productivity suite that combines Windows SharePoint and Microsoft Outlook e-mail powered by Microsoft Exchange Server Microsoft Exchange Server is a messaging and collaborative software product developed by Microsoft. It is part of the Microsoft Servers line of server products and is widely used by enterprises using Microsoft infrastructure solutions.  for no additional fee. The service also includes McAfee's Security Suite software to protect up to 25 PCs from viruses and spyware. Customers may also choose from a range of other website hosting, design features and options.
