Comcast Cable Names Douglas Sansom as Vice President and General Manager For its Baltimore Metropolitan Area Systems.
Sansom to Manage Comcast Cable's Systems in
Baltimore, Howard and Harford Counties
BALTIMORE, Sept. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Comcast Cable today announced that it has named Douglas Sansom as vice president and general manager for Comcast's Baltimore metropolitan area Baltimore-Towson, MD MSA is a U.S. Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) as defined by the United States Office of Management and Budget (OMB) as of November 2004. It is located in Maryland and had a population of 2,655,675 as of 2005, making it the 19th most populus MSA in the systems. Sansom's new responsibilities will include managing the day-to-day operations of Comcast's Baltimore metropolitan area systems serving Baltimore, Howard and Harford Counties.

Prior to his new position, Sansom served as vice president of operations for Comcast Cable in the Baltimore metropolitan area where he oversaw the implementation of marketing strategies and technical operations. Sansom joined Comcast from GTE GTE General Telephone & Electronics
