Comcast Cable Communications to Offer Free Three-Day Preview of Fox Soccer Channel, Starting Friday, November 24.


Weekend Preview will Feature the CONCACAF Women's Gold Cup The CONCACAF Women's Gold Cup, the CONCACAF (Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football) championship competition, takes place every other year.

LOS ANGELES -- Comcast Cable Communications is offering its subscribers, in the Illinois area, a free preview of Fox Soccer Channel Fox Soccer Channel is a United States digital cable network, owned by News Corporation, that specializes in soccer. The channel took its current name on February 7, 2005; before then, the network was known as Fox Sports World, Launched Nov. 1, 1997.  from Friday, November 24 through Sunday, November 26. As part of the preview, soccer fans will gain free access to more than 17 hours of Fox Soccer Channel's signature live programming, including a soccer match featuring Manchester United of the Barclays English Premier League taking on defending champions Chelsea FC on Sunday, November 26 at 11:00 a.m. ET/8:00 a.m. PT; the CONCACAF Women's Gold Cup Final on Sunday, November 26 at 8:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. PT; as well as the channel's nightly global news program Fox Sports World Report.
