People of All Ages Experience the Magic of the Holidays with One-of-a-Kind Imagery and Sounds on The Comcast Experience Video Wall

PHILADELPHIA -- The lobby of Comcast Center was filled with holiday cheer today as Comcast and Liberty Property Trust unveiled the newest holiday tradition in Philadelphia: "The Comcast Holiday Spectacular." This 15-minute show, full of stunning original holiday imagery, music and more, will be shown on The Comcast Experience video wall at the top of each hour from Thanksgiving through New Year's Day New Year's Day, among ancient peoples the first day of the year frequently corresponded to the vernal or autumnal equinox, or to the summer or winter solstice. In the Middle Ages it was celebrated among Christians usually on Mar. 25. .

"Our vision was to create a 21st century experience that captures the spirit of the holidays for the Philadelphia community, local families, and visitors to enjoy for free throughout the holiday season," said Brian L. Roberts Brian L. Roberts is Chairman and CEO of Comcast Corporation, an American company providing cable, entertainment and communications products and services. The Comcast Experience is the world's largest 4 mm LED video wall with 10-million pixels of clarity. It was introduced in June of this year at the opening of Comcast Center, and since then it has become a major Philadelphia tourist attraction, entertaining thousands of visitors with beautiful artistic displays and amazing imagery.

From scenes from The Nutcracker, to a fantastic sleigh ride through snow covered rural Pennsylvania into downtown Philadelphia, from the holiday sounds of a 64-piece orchestra, to the harmony of the Commonwealth Youth Choir's Keystone State Boychoir and Pennsylvania Girlchoir, The Comcast Holiday Spectacular is sure to delight people of all ages.

"Comcast Center lends itself like no other location in the city to hosting a new holiday show," said John Gattuso, Senior Vice President, Liberty Property Trust. "This screen and building were designed to draw in the public, from commuters on the subways to tourists visiting our city, and it is satisfying for all of us involved in its development to see it embraced by people of all walks of life."

Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter commented, "Comcast Center is the kind of building that comes along very rarely for a city - it engages, entertains, and gives back to the community. This holiday show will surely become a tradition in very short order."

In the spirit of giving, and to help local community groups make the holidays brighter for area children, there is a donation center in the lobby of Comcast Center accepting unwrapped new toys or books, which will be distributed through the "Comcast Cares" community investment initiative.

The Comcast Holiday Spectacular will be shown daily for the public at the top of the hour, seven days a week, from 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., beginning November 27, 2008, through January 1, 2009.
