Combined passing out of ATTS, SOL held.

ISLAMABAD, 09 June, 2009 (Balochistan Times) -- A combined Passing out Parade of Aero Apprentice of Administrative Trades Training School (ATTS) and School of Logistics (SOL) was held at PAF Base, Kohat on Tuesday. Air Officer Commanding, Northern Air Command, Pakistan Air Force Air Vice Marshal Sohail Gul Khan said, PAF is passing through challenging times. The security environment in and around Pakistan is changing rapidly. We therefore have the responsibility not only to defeat the enemy across our frontiers but within our land borders. We have no choice but to eliminate elements who are threatening our national integrity and our way of life. He highlighted the need to work hard and acquire professional competence to play role effectively towards making PAF a fighting force second to none. He reviewed the parade and awarded trophies to the distinction holders. At ATTS the Best in Academic Trophy was won by Aero Apprentice Nayyar Sajjad, Best All Round Trophy was earned by Aero Apprentice Shakir Rehman and Best in General Service Training Trophy from both the Schools was secured by Aero Apprentice Kaleem Ullah of ATTS. Likewise, at SOL Best in Academic Trophy and Best All Round Trophy was earned by Aero Apprentice Waqas Munaf. Earlier on his arrival the Chief Guest was received by Air Commodore Zia-ul-Haque Shamsi, Base Commander, PAF Base, Kohat.
