Combination extruding, cutting and check weighing system described.

The company's ECO E·co   , Umberto Born 1932.

Italian writer best known for his novels, including The Name of the Rose (1981). He has also written extensively on semiotics and British and American popular culture.
preformers are featured in this six-page, four-color brochure. The ECO range is said to be ideally suited to all processors requiring a lower investment without having to sacrifice accuracy or productivity, according to according to

Dramatic savings are said to be achieved when combining extruding, cutting and check weighing in one machine. Space and power savings are significant, since the ECO range consumes a fraction of the power and occupies only a small amount of floor space when compared with alternative methods, according to the literature.

The accuracy of all ECOs ([+ or -] 1% by volume) means that considerable material savings can be achieved in preform pre·form

The compound is extruded by a hydraulically powered ram, and the rate of extrusion is monitored by a digital flow valve. This permits the operator to select precisely the rate at which the rubber is extruded. A variable speed cutter cutter, small, one-masted sailing vessel, with a rig similar to that of a sloop except that it usually has a sliding bowsprit and a topmast. From 1800 to 1830 cutters were in service between England and France.  is located in the head of the machine, and the extrudate is cut at the die face so variations in die swell do not affect the volumetric volumetric /vol·u·met·ric/ (vol?u-met´rik) pertaining to or accompanied by measurement in volumes.

 accuracy of the preforms.

The ECO range is said to offer a quick return on investment, normally ensured through savings on material and labor alone.

Reduced flash and improved flow are said to be provided by preforms that are profiled to better fit the mold cavity. Even three-dimensional preforms can be produced.

The ECO range is said to provide better tolerance to faster accelerators, as there is no heat build-up build·up also build-up

The ECOs are capable of processing all types of compounds.
