Comarex Inks EM. TV Jr. Deal.


Comarex signed an exclusive representation agreement with EM.TV's Junior to distribute its programming on free TV and cable throughout all of Latin America Latin America, the Spanish-speaking, Portuguese-speaking, and French-speaking countries (except Canada) of North America, South America, Central America, and the West Indies. . The agreement also calls for the development of a Junior channel for cable and satellite in Latin America and the marketing of the Junior brand.

Patrick Elmendorff, head of International Sales at EM.TV EM.TV AG (formerly EM.TV & Merchandising AG) is a Munich-based media group. The company was founded by Thomas Haffa.

With this agreement, which Elmendorff said "complements Comarex's existing catalog," the Mexico City-based entertainment company has become one of the largest distributors in the Latin American market. Comarex's catalog also includes films and such TV Azteca TV Azteca is the second largest Mexican television network. It was established in 1968 as the state-owned Instituto Mexicano de la Televisión ("Imevisión"), and was privatized under its current name in 1993. Its flagship program is the newscast Hechos.  productions as telenovelas
