YORBA LINDA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 19, 1996--Comarco GSM Cellular/PCS Analysis products provide all that is needed for advanced evaluation of multiple operator and multiple protocol systems, simplifying deployment while enhancing system quality and integrity.

Available with up to four calling modules, systems can be configured with any combination of AMPS/DAMPS/ETACS/GSM. With options available for DCS1800 and PCN1900, Comarco equipment is ideal for Quality Indexing and Competitive Analysis of GSM networks worldwide.

Emulating customer behavior under actual load conditions, Comarco equipment measures network response from the subscriber's perspective. This end-to-end methodology analysis system performance based on criteria directly relevant to perceived customer quality. An empirical picture of network quality is derived, identifying problem areas, isolating potential interferors and facilitating corrective action.

Parameters displayed include Timeslot, TADV, RXQUAL, NCC, BCC, MAHO data and Handoff quality.

The integral DSP system automates noise and SINAD measurements, providing an objective assessment of audio quality in both Analog and Digital environments. The optional Answer System supports Uplink and Downlink audio measurements eliminating the need for tone loopback and assessing complete, end-to-end network operation.

Comarco's GSM range is fully programmable, supporting virtually any user calling profile. Location and time information is provided by an integral 6 channel GPS system. Front panel SIM card access increases flexibility while simplifying operation.
