ComTeq Federal Wins Large USDA Contract.

ComTeq Federal, Inc. (www.comteq.com), a leading supplier of networking equipment and services to Federal Government agencies, announced that it has won two recent bids from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for Hewlett Packard printers. ComTeq received two separate Notices of Award from the USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Service for more than 4,500 HP DeskJet color printers and laser printers. The sale, worth over $5.9 million, follows the company's recent General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule award for HP products. "This deal demonstrates ComTeq's expertise in meeting the large-scale computing demands of federal agencies," said Gary Sorkin, President of ComTeq.

ComTeq, based in Rockville, Maryland, holds a General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule, a National Institutes of Health (NIH) Electronic Computer Store II contract, and a NASA Scientific and Engineering Workstation Procurement (SEWP) Compaq authorization. The company also holds active Blanket Purchasing Agreements with several Federal Government agencies, including the United States Navy, the FDIC, the National Security Agency and the Internal Revenue Service.
