ComTech Consolidation Group Inc. (OTCBB:CCGI) today announced that the Board of Directors have agreed to change the business direction of the company.

Effective immediately ComTech will focus primarily on growing and acquiring Internet and technology related companies. The company will increase its efforts to develop and expand the current operations of Networks Online and Enhanced Internet Service Providers as well as aggressively seek to acquire other Internet related properties. The company is currently in talks to acquire a number of Internet related companies and Web sites.

ComTech Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Walter Davis commented, "We have made the decision to increase our focus on ComTech's Internet operations after carefully considering all available options. We will continue to roll out Broadband services in the Houston area through Networks Online in conjunction with ASDL partner Southwestern Bell (NYSE:DSW), and will seek to increase our marketing efforts. Networks Online currently has several valuable industry partners, including Gric Communications (NNMS:GRIC) to provide expanded dial-up services globally for all Networks Online customers and CMG Internet Group (NNMS:CMGI) subsidiary myway.com to provide expanded content to all NOL customers." Davis continued, "We also plan to expand our Web development, video conferencing and e-commerce capabilities as we acquire additional Web sites for future development. We are currently in negotiations with several Internet related companies and hope to consummate our first technology acquisition shortly."
