ComTech Announces Acquisition; Mental Health Division Show Positive Growth Through Acquisition!

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 16, 1999--ComTech Consolidation Group Inc., (OTC BB:CCGI) today announced that its subsidiary holding company UDI Capital Group Inc., (UDI-CAP), has acquired CPHC Inc., a Community Mental Health Center of Baton Rouge, La.

Winfred Fields, president & chief executive officer of UDI-CAP said, "the acquisition of CPHC is definitely a step forward for the organization, as it moves us to the next level in achieving our 1999 goal. We're looking to tackle this new horizon and making it a mirror image to our Texas operation. We are inserting different modalities in Baton Rouge that are now used in our Houston, Texas operation which we feel will increase the revenue of our Baton Rouge, La., operation from its 1998 level of $1.3 million to an estimated $2.8 to $3.0 million in the tax year 1999. This new growth should also stay in line with the roughly 20% operating profit ratio obtained at our Texas operation."

Fields also stated, "Key management positions at this new location were secured by a 5-year employee agreement that was put in place along with the acquisition. Dr. Ivory Toldson, former executive director now has the title of regional director, will continue to help manage and grow the operation in Louisiana. Mrs. Francis Toldson will now be titled as assistant administrator and carrying out her normal duties. Each of these positions will report to UDI-CAP's corporate office located at 2401 Fountainview, Suite 418, Houston, Texas 77057."
