: integration, development, consulting, maintenance/support, and training. Each element is designed to help the customer make the best use of Blue Wave's expertise, be it through technical training courses, assistance with architecture definition, the production of custom software, or the provision of post implementation support. The underlying objective of the Professional Services initiative is to help customers identify, develop and implement a ComStruct solution to best suit their needs.

Commenting on the formal introduction of Professional Services, Blue Wave Systems' director of support services support services Psychology Non-health care-related ancillary services–eg, transportation, financial aid, support groups, homemaker services, respite services, and other services , Mark Dunton, said, "Our expertise in communications processing has been very much in demand and has been instrumental in a number of ComStruct successes to date. The establishment of the Professional Services group now formalizes this offering. Through this program, ComStruct customers can now take advantage of our in-house team of specialists to help deliver high-performance embedded solutions within budget and on time."

Blue Wave has already demonstrated to a number of organizations its ability to provide custom engineering support for ComStruct solutions. One such organization is Tekelec Inc. (Nasdaq/NMS:TKLC), who use the ComStruct family for core processing within their next-generation wireless test platform, the MGTS MGTS Message Generator Traffic Simulator

and allowing them to add more value and functionality to their designs. Blue Wave Systems' long experience in both DSP technology and in the telecom industry, enables the Professional Services group to guide ComStruct customers through the development cycle.

While ComStruct's range of DSP hardware platforms Each hardware platform, or CPU family, has a unique machine language. All software presented to the computer for execution must be in the binary coded machine language of that CPU. Following is a list of the major hardware platforms in existence today. The FACT software framework can remove some or all of the DSP issues, allowing the developer to channel all resources into the application itself.
