ComStock Appoints Richard O'Dea Vice President of Sales; Proven Executive to Lead North America Sales Organization, Expand ComStock's Presence in Institutional Marketplace.

HARRISON, New York -- ComStock, part of Interactive Data (NYSE: IDC) and a leading provider of real-time global market data, today announced that Richard M. O'Dea has been named vice president of sales. O'Dea will be responsible for driving ComStock's North America sales strategy and strengthening ComStock's presence in the institutional marketplace.

O'Dea has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, with nearly 14 of those years in the real-time market data business. In his most recent position, O'Dea was senior vice president, global sales and account management at SunGard Data Management Solutions, where he was responsible for leading sales, account management and pre-sales teams around the world. O'Dea has also held a number of sales management positions at Reuters, Multex and Thomson Financial Services.

This appointment is effective immediately. O'Dea will report directly to Paul Zinone, general manager of North America, ComStock.
