The Internet-based communication solution ComBOTS (www.combots.com) has been available as Public Beta Version A pre-shipping release of hardware or software that has gone through alpha test. A beta version of software is supposed to be very close to the final product, but, in practice, it is more a way of getting users to test the software in the first place under real conditions.  for anyone since the opening day of IFA (see press release from September1, 2006).

ComBOTS is an internet-based service that leaves behind all the complexity of existing applications including installation- and compatibility problems, complicated user interfaces, the necessity of spam protection. The new product puts simplicity, fun and privacy back into everybody's personal digital communication.

Using intuitive Drag & Drop operation, a top-design straightforward user interface, hiding the all powerful technology under the surface, ComBOTS brings back fun into communication through permanent and private one to one connections to friends and family. Each of these connections is represented by a high quality 3D character with animated emotions that make icons, smilies or greeting cards look outdated.

The existing ComBOTS collections of characters, designed by famous studios, will now be joined by popular international characters, known from movies, TV and comics. These characters are now set to enter internet-based personal digital communication for the very first time, thanks to ComBOTS high quality graphics and animations.

"Partnering with New Line Cinema, Paws and United Media we have been able to convince three of the most famous global licence providers of our product", says a delighted Michael Greve, Founder and Chairman of ComBOTS AG: "With heroes from the blockbusting The practice of illegally frightening homeowners by telling them that people who are members of a particular race, religion, or national origin are moving into their neighborhood and that they should expect a decline in the value of their property.  'The Lord of the Rings' movie and long-established favorites such as Garfield & Peanuts we will attract a wide audience of all ages."
