Com-Guard, Inc. Announces Purchase Order from Wintergreen Systems, Inc.; Wintergreen Systems Inc. Orders $1,378,300 of Intel P-4 Barebone Systems With Com-Guard Trial Software.

:CGUD), a provider of security systems and security products for the PC computer industry, today announced that it has received a purchase order for 14,000 units of Intel P-4 Barebone Systems for a total order of $1,378,300 from Wintergreen wintergreen or checkerberry, low evergreen plant (Gaultheria procumbens) of the family Ericaceae (heath family), native to sandy and acid woods (usually of evergreens) of E North America and frequently cultivated.  Systems, a supplier of Systems solutions to the Computer marketplace. Com-Guard will provide its Com-Guard(TM) data security software product to Wintergreen Systems so it can manufacture the combined Com-Guard(TM) software and Barebone computers for delivery to Wintergreen's OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  customers.

These Barebone systems will include the Trial version of the Com-Guard(TM) software for data security. The Com-Guard software has many features that are not provided to the end user when they purchase a computer system. These features include data locking, data hiding (1) Secretly embedding data in graphics images and other file types. See steganography.
