WOBURN, Mass. -- SupplyScape Corporation today announced that Columbus Serum Company (CSC) has selected the SupplyScape E-Pedigree data management solution to comply with pedigree regulatory requirements and to help drive operational efficiencies in its supply chain operations.

Columbus Serum Company is a wholesale distributor of veterinary products doing business with more than 8,000 veterinary practices in 26 states. As a distributor selling more than 400 human prescription drugs to veterinary practices for animal use, Columbus Serum is required to meet the pedigree requirements under the Federal Prescription Drug Marketing Act (PDMA).

As a result, CSC decided it needed a commercial electronic pedigree solution that could be deployed as an outsourced hosted solution.
