expansions are part of a global expansion program involving operations
in North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere. , Europe and the Far East which will increase the
company's worldwide carbon black capacity by 25% in the next
several years. This represents an increase of more than 180,000 metric
tons annually. Scheduled for completion in mid- mid- pref. Middle: midbrain. 1997, the North Bend
expansion will increase production capacity by 37,000 metric tons
annually. In the United Kingdom, 20,000 metric tons capacity will be
added annually through the installation of a production line for its
Ultra carbon blacks.
