In 2002, it was renamed to Sony Pictures Television International. . The license is for the use of Interruption Television's youth oriented, Planet Ex property in the Middle East. Columbia Tristar will utilize this property in the development of its television brand, AXN-Action TV. This agreement is the fourth license that Interruption Television has executed with Columbia Tristar, allowing the Company's distribution to reach into Asia, Spain, Portugal and South America South America, fourth largest continent (1991 est. pop. 299,150,000), c.6,880,000 sq mi (17,819,000 sq km), the southern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere. .
