Columbia Sportswear's Board of Directors Names Terry Brown as Vice President of Planning/Chief Information Officer.

Columbia Sportswear Columbia Sportswear Company NASDAQ: COLM is a United States company that manufactures and distributes outerwear and sportswear. Founded in 1938 by the late Paul Lamfrom, father of present chairperson Gert Boyle, the company is headquartered in Portland, Oregon.  Company(R), maker of high quality active outdoor apparel and footwear, today announced that its Board of Directors appointed Terry Brown, Columbia Sportswear's Executive Planner, to the position of Vice President of Planning/Chief Information Officer.

Brown reports directly to Don Santorufo, Columbia's Chief Operating Officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Brown joined the company in 1983 as a planner, with responsibilities for customer service and Columbia's distribution center. In 1998 he became the director of Columbia's retail division. Prior to Columbia Sportswear, Brown worked for Portland-based Jantzen, Inc. as a planner.
