GRAMMY AWARDS Grammy Awards

Johny Cash was nominated for Best Male Country Vocal Performance for "Solitary Man," from "American III: Solitary Man," which was nominated for Best Contemporary Folk Album. Bob Dylan was nominated for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance for "Things Have Changed," from the soundtrack to "Wonder Boys -- Music From The Motion Picture," and the song was also nominated for Best Song Written For A Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media.

The Miles Davis & John Coltrane boxed set, "The Complete Columbia Recordings 1955-1961," was nominated in two categories -- Best Boxed Recording Package and Best Album Notes. "The Complete Hot Five and Hot Seven Recordings" by Louis Armstrong was nominated for Best Boxed Recording Package and Best Historical Album.

This is the first time Chantal has embarked on an extended U.S. tour with a full backing band. Her tour coincides with the mid-February release of Tom Lord-Alge's remix of "Before You," a track on Chantal's current "Colour Moving and Still" album. Chantal has also taped an episode of a new comic satire called "Big Sound," about the trials and tribulations of a successful music manager, scheduled to air on Canada television early this year.

Train releases a new album called "Drops Of Jupiter" on Tuesday, March 13. The album, recorded during much of last year in Atlanta with producer Brendan O'Brien, who has worked with Pearl Jam, Rage Against The Machine, and Stone Temple Pilots Stone Temple Pilots (abbreviated STP) was a popular Grammy Award-winning American hard rock band in the 1990s and early 2000s, consisting of Scott Weiland (vocals), brothers Robert (bass guitar, vocals) and Dean DeLeo (guitar), and Eric Kretz (drums, percussion). . The first signle from "Drops Of Jupiter" will be the title track, slated for release in early February. The band plans to tour this spring.
