:COB) today announced that the Company intends to vigorously contest allegations made against it and certain officers and directors of the Company in a number of securities class action lawsuits filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida The United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida (S.D.Fl.) is the federal district court covering the southern part of the state of Florida. The court's jurisdiction comprises the following counties: Broward, Dade, Highlands, Indian River, Martin, Monroe,  purportedly on behalf of purchasers of the Company's common stock during the period of November 8, 1999 to June 9, 2000. The complaints allege, among other things, that the Company and certain officers and directors made misstatements to the investing public about the Company's products and prospects.

The Company believes the allegations in the complaints are without merit and intends to contest them vigorously.
